It has been used since ancient Roman times for the construction of temples and later by Michelangelo for his most famous works. With its elegant veins ranging from taupe gray to various shades of gray and gold, it is a protagonist of high-end construction. Calacatta Borghini is characterized by its microcrystalline structure, hardness, luminosity, and almost translucent whiteness. This white veined marble is suitable for various applications like flooring, stairs, wall coverings, kitchens, window sills, and even external cladding. Calacatta Borghini is the only white marble certified by the American Institute of Marble for outdoor applications. It is also available in an open-pore version.
